In our faith it is easy to focus on ourselves and the fact that God loves me. But if God loves me he also loves all people everywhere. We would believe biblical Christianity would be that God loves me so that I might make his ways, his plan, his glory and greatness known all over the world. That all people would have an opportunity to know that same love of God that I know.
Today we are approaching seven billion people on the earth. The most generous data suggests that 1/3 of those are Christian. That still leaves 4.5 billion people and almost all of those live outside the USA. It means billions of people still have not even heard the good news. Therefore, part of our ethos as a church is to focus on reaching those areas of the world that are hard to reach with the love of Christ.
