WHAT IS
SOUL CARE?
SOUL CARE is an extension of
Open Hearts Ministry
located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. SOUL CARE is a
biblically-based program that provides a safe place for working
through the issues of abuse in the context of a small group. The
leaders facilitate the rebuilding process for men and women who are
seeking a compassionate and safe environment to honestly face the
damage and effects of past abuse. Our primary focus is knowing and
telling our stories. Each participant will receive a Journey Guide
for personal reflection and preparation for the meetings.

GROUPS FOR?
What would it look
like to embrace all that God meant for us as men and women? To live
with hope and freedom? That is what this ministry is all about.
Any man or woman who longs to know the truth and understand how
their stories have kept them from living this out… this ministry is
for you.
WHEN WILL WE MEET?
There is a
possibility of having two
12-week sessions each year. We have met on
Thursday evenings at Christ Presbyterian Church. We begin promptly
at 7:00 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m. Weekly participation is desired.
Your faithfulness will demonstrate your commitment to the other
group members and to healing.
