Adult Sunday School for 2006-2007 

This year in Adult Sunday School at CPC, we are going to emphasize knowing the one in whom we place our faith.

Our class will meet at 10:30 am in the Portable classroom on the right. Grab a cup of coffee or a cappuccino and come a few minutes early for some great fellowship. Each Sunday’s study is a complete lesson, so join us whenever you can.

Our Current Study is titled, A Strong Tower. It is a 17 lesson study based on Kay Arthur’s book, Lord I Want to Know You. In this study we will examine 16 names that God gives himself in scripture and what they reveal about his person, character and nature. Our theme verses for this study are: 
 

Proverbs 18:10 - The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.  (NIV) 

Daniel 11:32b - …the people who know their God will display strength and take action.  (NASB)

Our Winter Study which will begin in January, 2007 is all about knowing Jesus better and cultivating a close personal human and spiritual relationship with him.  It is based on Phillip Yancey’s book, The Jesus I Never Knew. If you struggle with the concept and understanding of how do I know my Savior and actually have a relationship with him, this study will radically change your walk with Christ

Our Spring Study will focus on knowing the Holy Spirit and understanding his role and power in the life of the believer. Through it you will learn who the Third Person of the Trinity is and what his place and purpose in your life is.
